As an integrated part of the Union, the bilingual Service Center (Grievance) Representative will handle grievances and work to enforce the terms of collective bargaining agreements in coordination with field organizers and member leaders.

The HR Manager is part of a three-person HR team that administers HR programs and activities for staff across the union’s jurisdiction. Each member of the HR team is responsible for personnel policies and compliance, meeting department goals, and ongoing process improvement. The HR Manager spends roughly 70 percent of their time focused on hiring and onboarding.

32BJ SEIU is looking for Research Analyst with experience in the labor movement or community, racial justice or immigrant rights organizing to support the Union’s internal and external organizing campaigns. We are hiring for one position that, depending on experience, will either be a Researcher, Research Analyst, or Research Analyst II.

We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Field Representative to be based in the Boston office to help build power for property services members. The Field Representative will work primarily with janitors who work in commercial office buildings, higher education institutions, and other types of worksites.

The Deputy Director for Policy will be responsible for working with the Director of Research and Policy as well as other stakeholders to plan and implement the union’s long-term policy agenda. The Deputy Director for Policy will also be responsible for anchoring the union’s efforts to engage 32BJ members in advocacy around federal policy priorities through lobby days, participation in public actions, calls to members of Congress and other activities.
