32BJ SEIU Endorses Vincent Gray, Robert White and Trayon White for D.C. Council

Washington, D.C. – Essential janitors, security officers and contracted airport workers represented by 32BJ SEIU have endorsed Vincent Gray, Robert White and Trayon White for D.C. Council.

“Essential workers risking their lives to keep us safe during the pandemic need leaders like these who will prioritize their livelihoods over corporate lobbyists,” said 32BJ Vice President, Jaime Contreras. “They understand that the men and women who keep our economy running deserve better than to be priced out of their own city. From helping to strengthen responsible contracting laws to supporting the fight for good jobs, Vincent Gray has long been a champion for our city’s security officers.”

With more than 175,000 members in nine states, including over 20,000 in the D.C. Metropolitan Area and Baltimore, MD 32BJ SEIU is the largest property service workers union in the country.
