We, the undersigned, urge building owners, cleaning contractors, and security contractors to respect the rights of workers who provide important services to secure and maintain their property. These employees work hard and are seeking the American Dream for themselves and their families.
We honor them and respect their work by supporting their right to:
- A living wage sufficient to sustain our families and communities
- Affordable healthcare for our families
- Benefits that respect basic human needs, such as paid sick days, a workplace free from harassment, discrimination and favoritism
- Sufficient hours, training and materials to provide quality service to clients and tenants
