Clinton Outlines Plan to Help Working Families While Trump Leaves us “In Suspense” About Accepting Election Results

Philadelphia—32BJ SEIU, the union representing 22,000 property service workers in Pennsylvania issued the following statement in response to the final Presidential debate.

Attributable to Gabe Morgan, 32BJ SEIU Vice President:

“Tonight we witnessed Hillary Clinton put forth a clear plan to create jobs, raise the wage, cut taxes for middle class families, ensure equal pay for women and protect Social Security. While Clinton talked about ways we can bring balance to our economy, Trump has no real plan to bring back jobs, including those he sent overseas to make his clothing.

“Pennsylvania families cannot feed their families with Trump’s bragging and insults. Trump avoided talking about bread and butter issues because he has no plan to actually help working families. Donald Trump is racist, sexist con man who has no idea what issues matter to working people.

“Trump’s refusal to accept the election results is one more example of why he is unfit to be President. Pat Toomey should own up to his support for Trump today, not the day after Election Day. Pat Toomey has a responsibility to be clear with the voters about where he stands on Trump. Pennsylvania voters have to make up their minds, and so should Pat Toomey.”

With 155,000 members in eleven states and Washington, D.C., 32BJ SEIU is the largest property service workers union in the country.
