New York, N.Y. — 32BJ SEIU, the largest property services union in the country, announced today its endorsements for the NYS Assembly ahead of the June 28th primary elections. These endorsements come after virtual screening sessions, during which members had the opportunity to voice their concerns regarding NYS policy. With more than 90 endorsed candidates, 32BJ SEIU’s slate includes long-time incumbents and newcomers united in their commitment to working New Yorkers.
32BJ SEIU President Kyle Bragg said:
“Every single one of these candidates has proven they will fight for our members and for working New Yorkers in Albany. At a time when the cost of living is rising and our public health crisis is persisting, we need leaders in Albany who are committed to a worker-led recovery. Our members chose these candidates because each of them has proven they will center the needs of the New Yorkers who kept the Empire State running during our darkest days. We look forward to working together to build a New York for all of us.”
