On Thursday, March 1st we sat across the table from the Realty Advisory Board (RAB) and presented them with our proposals for a new, four year contract that will cover over 31,000 residential members that work in over 3,500 buildings in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.
Members of our Bargaining Committee have said residential workers need a good contract that enables them to continue living in the city and provide a bright future for their families.
Our proposals for the new contract are simple and sensible:
- A fair wage increase
- Maintain our health benefits and continue to provide cost effective quality healthcare
- Protect our pension
- Cotninue training and legal benefits
- Improve working conditions and paid leave
