After many weeks of tough negotiations, the bargaining committee for cleaners and porters working in Broadway League theaters reached a strong new tentative agreement the night before the contract was set to expire on June 30. This is a great win for members who help make Broadway stars shine!

The four-year agreement includes:

  • strong wage increases for all job classifications in each of the four years totaling $1.70;
  • increases in employer contributions that preserve health and pension benefits;
  • improved job protections with better placement opportunities for members laid off during long-term theater closures for renovations, and preferences to hire members for vacancies.

Make sure to attend an important meeting where we will discuss details of the agreement and vote to ratify it on
