We are not fighting just for ourselves but we’re fighting for all working families.

Fighting For Every Vote

32BJ members are working hard to get out the vote in November. Over the last four years, President Obama fought hard for working families, and 32BJ members are fighting hard to protect the gains we won on healthcare, the economy, immigration and civil rights. If you’re a member, join the fight by volunteering or contributing to the American Dream Fund.

We are in the most important election campaign of our lifetimes. We face the prospect of going back to the same failed policies that wrecked our economy in the first place or moving forward with President Obama. Voters must decide between Mitt Romney’s “you’re on your own” philosophy or President Obama’s idea that “we’re all in this together.”

The choice couldn’t be clearer for working families. President Obama is the right leader to fight for economic security for the middle class. He understands that government shouldn’t allow millionaires to avoid paying their fair share and that real prosperity comes by creating jobs and growing the middle class.

No matter how much Mitt Romney claims he cares about the middle class, the truth is that the linchpin of his policy agenda is more tax cuts for the wealthy at the expense of everyone else – a return to the failed trickle-down economic policies of the past. That’s not a plan for moving America forward.

32BJ SEIU members believe we need to create more good jobs, make everyone pay their fair share, stop cuts to vital services and create a pathway to citizenship for immigrants.

That is why 32BJ SEIU members have been in the streets knocking doors since June fighting to re-elect President Barack Obama on November 6. Together, we’re making the difference!
