The first bargaining session for a new contract with the Broadway League, which covers about 300 members in 32 theaters, was June 1. The eight-member bargaining committee presented employers with proposals, which include:

  • Fair yearly WAGE INCREASES that will help you keep up with the rising cost of living in New York City;
  • Maintaining your HEALTH CARE, PENSIONS and other benefits;
  • JOB SECURITY language that ensures you are treated fairly when owners make changes to their theaters.

The next bargaining sessions are on June 14 and 15 when the employers make their proposals. We will keep you informed about the latest on your fight for a fair contract!
