Making Politics Work for
Working People
It's not just about contributing, it's about getting politically active! Once a month ADF members come together and participate in our Political Action Committee (PAC), where members learn about issues that affect our union and our communities.
So sign up and GET ACTIVE! Contact your local political organizer or director for more details!
What is an MPO?
Member Political Organizers (MPOs) are members who take time off their jobs to work on political campaigns. They are trained to be forceful advocates for the cause of building service workers and all working families. They work on the front lines with pro-worker candidates who are committed to making politics work for working people.
What does an MPO do?
MPOs are political activists who also energize other members into getting politically involved. They work at their job site, on the phones, and in their neighborhoods to
- talk to members about their political concerns
- register members to vote and get out the vote on election day
- recruit volunteers
- pressure politicians and build community support on our issues
MPOs are often deeply involved in their communities and volunteer time to build political power for working families.
