NEW YORK – Cleaners who work at Simon Property Group shopping malls on the East Coast have agreed to a new four-year contract with their employer, Control Building Services, according to Newsday.

The nearly 400 cleaners, members of Service Employees International Union Local 32BJ, will earn a minimum of $10.15 an hour as of July 1, and that rate will increase to $11.35 an hour in the fourth year, the story stated.

The contract also calls for including food court cleaners in the union for the first time, the story noted.
