In other business at the School Reform Commission's meeting yesterday:
* The board unanimously voted to approve the teacher contract with the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers, while extending the contract deadline of another of the district's unions.
The board voted to extend the agreement between the district and the Local 32BJ District 1201, representing custodial and maintenance employees, to Feb. 16.
* The board approved a $225,000 contract with Prime Directive Consulting Group, a company that offers management services, to design a diversity-awareness program for employees at South Philly High. The pilot program will later expand to more schools throughout the district this spring.
* Teach Productions, the company filming the reality series starring Tony Danza at Northeast High School, has donated $75,000 to the school to install air conditioning in the school's library.
* The district recognized guidance counselors in honor of National School Counseling Week.
* Students from Bok High School presented the five-member panel with gifts.
