Attorney general hopeful Eric Schneiderman not only got the endorsement of fellow state Sen. Tom Duane this morning, he's getting a hand from 120,000-member 32BJ, the property workers union, in the form of the mailer below.
It's the union's first mailer of the primary season, and will hit the mailboxes of thousands of members in Westchester and the Hudson Valley and Long Island -- rival turf -- starting tomorrow. (It will also go out to members in NYC.)
"The mailer - in both English and Spanish - focuses on Schneiderman’s record of fighting for working families and asks members to volunteer to help get out the vote. In addition to this mail piece, 32BJ members are going door-to-door canvassing and phone-banking to recruit volunteers to talk to voters about Schneiderman’s candidacy," a union spox said.
