City Council Member Stephen Levin and Fired Workers to Protest 184 Kent’s Attacks on Workers Rights

Brooklyn, NY - July 20, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) — City Council member Stephen Levin will join 184 Kent residents, 32BJ SEIU members and workers allegedly fired for forming a union to demand that the building management stop harassing and intimidating its employees.  Levin, residents and workers will also deliver a petition signed by hundreds of supportive renters in the half-full development.

Workers Jose Guzman and Penil Martinez were fired while trying to organize for better conditions at luxury apartment building 184 Kent.  The workers have called for the National Labor Relations Board to investigate their firings.
