Interview with Héctor Figueroa on the Port Authority

Published: April 2, 2009

Security guards at two of the area's biggest airports say they need better training. Officers at JFK and LaGuardia say their counterparts at Newark Airport undergo more rigoruos programs. Hector Figueroa with 32 BJ says airline passengers in New York deserve the same level of protection.

"They are working at probably two of the most sensative airports in the country and yet they can not provide health insurance for families," said Figueuroa.

The Port Authority didn't return our call for comment.
