As a public service to the community, 32BJ and El Diario/La Prensa are holding a series of citizenship clinics across New York City in partnership with community-based organizations. The clinics provide legal assistance to non-member residents who wish to process their citizenship applications.

Five clinics have been held since July 2005:

• Washington Heights with Alianza Dominicana
  Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights, and the CUNY Citizenship and Immigration Project


• Jackson Heights with the CUNY Citizenship and Immigration Project


• Flatbush with the Chambers Avenue Merchants Block Association and
  the CUNY Citizenship and Immigration Project


• North Bronx with the Northwest Bronx Community &
  Clergy Coalition and the Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights


• East Harlem with Union Settlement and the
  CUNY Citizenship and Immigration Project
