Governor Rell, now we are depending on you.
Hundreds of Connecticut’s children, including Felipe and RoseMarie, are depending on the State Senators to save their health care. Without an amendment to the Standard Wage Law which governs their parents’ wages and benefits, these children will lose her health care coverage on July 1, 2009.
Felipe and RoseMarie’s fathers, Felipe Trevitazzo and Juan Valenzuela, are hard-working cleaners who keep things running in Connecticut’s state buildings, including the Capitol, Bradley Airport and UConn campuses. Felipe, Juan and other state cleaners know times are tough, and already, they have sacrificed their pension benefits. For a year, they have been fighting to keep the health care benefits their families depend on. |
