MBTA, Don’t Make A Mess (Again)

Once again, the MBTA is pushing a drastic plan that could cut essential janitorial services as soon as September 1.

It didn’t work two years ago and it won’t work now. The women and men who have been cleaning these stations for over a decade know that these cuts are not going to work . . . and we are going to smell the results.

MBTA janitors are routinely called upon to clean not only dirt and trash, but urine, vomit and feces; fewer janitors doing the job will have significant quality and public health ramifications.

  • Tweet @MBTA & @MassGovernor and ask them to ditch this plan that lowers the quality of service and hurts our local economy. #MBTAmess
  • Call the MBTA (617-222-3200) and tell them to stop this mess in our T stations.
