A program of action.  32BJ doesn’t wait quietly for things to get better. We take our message to the public, the streets and the people who make the decisions that matter to our lives.

An open process. Contract negotiations are no secret affair at 32BJ. Members are involved in bargaining and get regular updates on negotiations from their Contract Action Team.

Political support.  Last year, members of the City Council, State Assembly and Senate and the U.S. Congress and Senate helped 32BJ members win strong contracts.

Expertise. 32BJ specializes in representing custodial and building maintenance workers.

Resources. 32BJ’s staff is experienced and highly trained in negotiating and enforcing contracts, organizing new members and building public and political support for our campaigns. And we’ve got the resources to put up a fight.
