EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Kevin Doyle is Executive Vice President of 32BJ, the largest property services union in the country. 32BJ represents more than 120,000 property service workers - window cleaners, superintendents, doormen, maintenance workers, cleaners, porters and security officers - in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
To build the union’s membership and increase the union’s strength to win for members and their families, Kevin directs 32BJ’s growth program. He is responsible for directing the work of the local’s three regions to ensure that organizing, contract and political campaigns meet strategic growth goals and build union capacity.
A labor activist for more than three decades, Kevin began his career in 1971 as an AFSCME member and union steward at Bridgeport Airport. Three years later, he joined Local 1199 SEIU as an organizer, going on to serve as Political Action Director, Vice President and Pension and Health Fund Director. Kevin joined the staff of the SEIU International in 1998, and helped facilitate the vote by Local 144 members to join Local 1199. He came to 32BJ the following year, was elected Vice President in August 2000, and then elected to the position of Executive Vice President in 2003. He was re-elected to serve another three-year term in September 2006. During his tenure at 32BJ, he supervised the integration of several locals into 32BJ, as well as led the first negotiations for window cleaners, Broadway theatre employees, and Co-op City and Westchester residential contracts. He serves as Chairman of the 32BJ North Benefit Funds.
A native of Bridgeport, Connecticut, Kevin attended Fairfield University. He is married, has two children and lives in Manhattan.
