New Deal for New Yorkers

32BJ’s Plan for Good Jobs and A Better New York

More than three million New Yorkers are struggling to get by on low incomes. Finding good jobs, paying their monthly rent and putting food on the table for their families are everyday battles.

A New Deal for New Yorkers is a three-point policy platform aimed at moving working people out of poverty and into the middle class.

As part of 32BJ’s endorsement process, candidates seeking office in 2009 are being asked to commit to the New Deal.
